If you are going to write content for your website, via a blog, or news posts, then you might as well write search engine friendly copy! Copywriting for the web is a little different than copywriting for lets say a brochure, or sales sheets. Yes, there is a learning curve, but it can be learned.
First of all, who is your audience? What are you writing about? Whatever it is, make sure you do a little keyword research prior to typing your first word. There are a number of keyword research tools available, just google it – keyword research tool – you’ll get a ton of options. Google Adwords has a Keyword Research tool and is one of the better resources. Once your keyword research is complete, bake a few of them into your copy, but don’t overdo it! You do not want to be penalized. There is a happy medium!
